BEREA CHARITY CHALLENGE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

Maseru, Sept 19 — The Berea Charity Challenge which will feature four teams consisting of Lioli FC, Bantu both from Premier league as well as Maroala FC and Ambigos FC from the lower division was officially launched at the event held in Maseru on Tuesday.

The tournament will be played at the Lioli Football Ground on October 04 which is Independence Day.

Launching this tournament, Maluti Mountain Cement (MMC) Manager Mr. Lehlohonolo Lephema said by sponsoring the tournament, it is another form of giving back to the community, especially from the Berea district.

He said during the tournament, the lives of people living in Teyateyaneng will be able to sell their goodies like fruits to spectators expected to fill up the Stadium.

Mr. Lephema said the total sponsorship is M220, 000 of which M100, 000 will go towards the prize money while the rest will cover logistical costs.
