CAR HEADS DOWN AFTER LIKUENA VICTORY

Bloemfontein, Nov. 11– Central African Republic (CAR) walked with tails between legs after a 1 – 0 loss to Lesotho in a TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers match held in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.

This victory means seven points for Likuena which should aim at winning Gabon next week.

Mr. Leslie Notsi, the coach commented that this was one of the toughest matches, but Lesotho had the opportunity to get the maximum goals score.

He said this was also another chance for CAR to qualify for the championship but commented he expects Morocco to be more difficult, although he is going to work harder to continue the performance. . .
