Mokhotlong Aug.19 — The Bureau of Statistics (BOS) has embarked on the second phase of Economic census in the district since Monday.
According to the Bureau, Economic census is the total process of collecting, compiling, evaluating, analysing and publishing Economic data pertaining to all business establishment engaged in production or distribution of goods and services.
One of the Statisticians from BOS Department in Mokhotlong, Mr. Thinyane Klass said the objective of conducting the census is to provide a comprehensive information on the structure of Lesotho’s economy based on various establishments, employment within such, their numbers and type… LU/BM
