DCEO REVIVES ANTI CORRUPTION COMMITTEE

Mokhotlong, April 16 — The District Anti-Corruption Committee (DACC) composed of 20 members from different sectors was elected as part of the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences (DCEO) initiative to strengthen the fight against corruption in the district.

Elections were a culmination of a one day workshop on revival of DACC held in Mokhotlong on Tuesday which was organised by DCEO to bring all on board in the fight against corruption.

The committee is made of representatives from community, public and private sectors, civil society, Chiefs, Councilors as well as churches with its Chairperson coming from the community.

In his brief remarks after the elections, the Chairperson Mr. Lebohang Lengoasa of Tlokoeng said they will work hard and ensure that they fight against all forms of corruption in the district.
