Botha-Bothe, Jan. 28 — The Botha-Bothe district came together in prayer at the district Pitso ground, marking the conclusion of the 200 years celebration of the existence of the Basotho nation.
In a church service led by the Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL), Mrs. Moliehi Paneng read passages from the Book of Jeremiah chapter nine verses 17-18, 2nd Chronicles chapter 17 verses 14-15, and Jeremiah chapter 6 verse 16.
“Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skilful of them. Let them come quickly and wail over us till our eyes overflow with tears and water streams from our eyelids.
“And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valor three hundred thousand. And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand. . .
