Maseru, Sep.26 — Senior government officials, the representatives of the diplomatic mission as well the People’s Republic of China’s community living in Lesotho assembled to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on Wednesday evening in Maseru.
On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Minister of Public Works Mr. Matjato Moteane said the celebration only serves as a remembrance for the Chinese people but it also comes as a tribute in the ongoing relationship between the two countries.
He stated that over the past 75 years China has witnessed a milestone in development especially in the economy, technology and innovations as well as poverty reduction. . .
