Mohale’s Hoek, Jan.30 — A 37-year-old man Tlali Mahase from Rothe Ha-Tsúkulu in Maseru is expected to appear before the court on February, 02, facing an alleged rape charge of a 12 year old.
Mahase who is a security guard in one of the High Schools in the district, is reported to have allegedly raped the victim on Jan, 27 at around 10 p.m. when the school was holding an event.
The victim is reported to have been fetching some fire wood within the school’s premises, when she came across the accused who informed the latter that firewood was finished, but noted he had enough at his place and lured the victim into accompanying him, but the latter denied and Mahase forcefully removed the girl from the premises to his house where he allegedly raped the girl. . .
