Maseru, Feb. 11 — A 17-year-old teenage boy of Thaba-Tseka is facing charges of allegedly raping a 79-year-old of Mekaling Letlapeng.
This was revealed by Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Inspector ‘Mareabetsoe Mofoka when presenting weekly report at a press conference held in Maseru on Tuesday.
According to the Inspector, on February 03, 2025 in the morning, the aged was said to be coming from Harasekoele to Letlapeng when she met with the suspect in between farms, where he (suspect) tracked her in to the donga and allegedly raped her.
She further said, the aged managed to cry out for help and was duly saved by two men aged between 39 and 40 respectively who then facilitated towards reporting the matter. . .
