Maseru, June 21—The main opposition political party in the country, Democratic Congress (DC) has called for the dissolution of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) ahead of the Local Government elections which are scheduled in September this year.
In his media briefing held at Qoatsaneng in Maseru on Wednesday, DC Leader Mr Mathibeli Mokhothu said IEC is incompetent and cannot be trusted to run the forthcoming Local Government elections.
