Leribe, Oct. 11 — With the purpose of reinforcing its activities, District Child Protection Team (DCPT) is today holding a meeting at District Administrator premises Hlotse in Leribe.
DCPT is made up of members from different government ministries, departments and non-governmental organizations operating in the district.
Amongst those are Child and Gender Protection Unit (CGPU), Lesotho Red Cross, Sentebale, World Vision Lesotho, Department of Social Development, Karabo ea Bophelo, Lesotho Correctional Service (LCS), Disaster Management Authority (DMA), Lesotho News Agency (LENA) and Bacha Re Bacha
Introducing the meeting, DCPT member Mrs. ‘Mantuping Nyamane added that the other main purpose is to review the progress on second quarter implementation plan and fill in the gaps identified.
