Berea, Sept 14 — District Football Association (DIFA) Berea in partnership with Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organizations (LCN) has organized a one-day soccer tournament to be staged at Lioli F.C grounds with the intention to increase public awareness on the importance of participating in the upcoming local government elections.
The tournament is sponsored by LCN and it is set to kick off on Sunday whereby four B-division teams to be in action include Tigers, Kepi, Aces and Ntjabane F.C.
Representing LCN Voters Educators, Mr. Paul Leteba said they have approached sports as another strategy of bringing people together to effectively disseminate education about voting and to encourage people to vote.
