EMPOWERING FUTURE TEACHERS

Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 05 — The Lesotho Association of Teachers (LAT) Qacha’s Nek branch will unveil an examination fee sponsorship tomorrow for 10 Grade 11 pupils.

This initiative supports vulnerable students aspiring to become educators and promotes the teaching profession.

The selected high schools include John XXIII, Patlong, Boithatelo, Tebellong, Makhalong, Makhaola, Qacha’s Nek, ‘Melikane and Ramats’eliso government school.

In an interview with the Agency, LAT Branch Chairperson, Mr. Ts’epang Nts’oane, who also teaches at Waterfall Primary, explained that the schools were chosen through a random draw to ensure fairness in the selection process. Following the draw, discussions with school principals identified pupils who would benefit most from this initiative.
