Leribe, Apr. 19 — In an effort to equip farmers with generating income skills, 30 of them were trained on wool production at Maputsoe Resource Center yesterday ( Thursday).
It was conducted at Pobeng sub center, with farmers from Pobeng and Ha Ntahli.
Explaining to the Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, District Home Economics Officer Leribe Mrs. Rethabile Motake said the farmers were from one granted nutrition club by the Small Agriculture Development Programme (SADP) and two newly established clubs.
She indicated that through the training the farmers managed to produce floor mats, decorated bottles with cottage and produce flower vases, earrings and curtain holders or fasteners.
