FIVE SUSPENDED BNP MEMBERS SEEK COURT INTERVENTION

Maseru, April 11 — Five suspended Basotho National Party (BNP) members have filed an urgent application in which they are challenging the party Leader’s decision to suspend them for misconduct.

One of the five suspended BNP members Mr. Seeiso Bereng told the agency on Monday that they have filed an urgent application seeking the court to overrule the party Leader’s decision to suspend them until they have been hurled before the disciplinary committee facing misconduct.

He told the Agency that they went to the court after attempts to resolve the matter amicably failed, as they are determined to be part of the party’s elective conference scheduled to be held in Botha Bothe starting this Friday to Sunday.
