Maseru, April 16 — In a bid to give hope to children battling cancer, Gold Anchor Pediatric Cancer Foundation has been established locally, cancer activist and Founder, Ms. Mmamaseru Maqhobela has said.
According to Ms. Maqhobela, the foundation aims to visit schools across the country with the intention to raise awareness, to advocate for early detection, and to provide unwavering support to these young fighters and their families.
She added that the issue of cancer is a serious health matter affecting patients and their loved ones, particularly children as the most prone part of the society hence the need to stand in solidarity in giving hope to these future generations.
“These children who fight battles far beyond their years, they are an inspiration, the driving force, the more reason why these young fighters and their families need our support hence the foundation”, she stressed.
