These sentiments were shared by MICSTI Minister, Ms. Nthati Moorosi during the launch of National Digital Transformation Strategy and Ministerial Strategy event held in Maseru on Wednesday.
The two-day event being broadcast live on different government’s communication platforms has brought together stakeholders in the digital sphere.

She explained the two strategies serve as powerful tools aimed at reshaping the country’s economy as well as elevating service delivery.
Ms. Moorosi stated the launch happens at an opportune time when not only is she Chief Digital Officer but when Lesotho is Chair of African Union Specialised Technical Committee on Communication and Information Communication Technology.
Similarly, the Ministry’s Principal Secretary (PS) Mr. Kanono Ramashamole said the launch further comes at the time when 100 percent broadband coverage has successfully been achieved.
