Berea, June 10 — In a bid to build a sustainable livelihood and to strengthen food security initiatives, Hloa-Leri Nutrition Club at Ha-Letsoela has embarked on the production of liquid soap project.
When approached for a comment, Hloa-Leri Chairperson Mrs. Mapusetso Lieta said currently the country is faced with high unemployment rate.
Mrs. Lieta also highlighted climate change ss another pressing issue with negative impact to lives.
She mentioned that being the community based group which was initially focused on crops production, and how to prepare food and preserve them, hence the move to integrate other income generating opportunities for the sustainability of the nutrition club.
She pointed out that last February, they were empowered with a training on production of liquid soap and the project is yielding positive outcomes and they have support from local people and other neighboring communities. . . .
