Mokhotlong, June 10 — The Disaster Management Authority (DMA) Office in Mokhotlong is working tirelessly to ensure two men aged between 40 and 42 who have been stuck in snow at Tlaeeng Pass get rescue.
Tlaeeng is a pass along a boundary between Mokhotlong and Butha Buthe with an elevation of about 3.262 metres above the sea level.
The duo were stuck since Sunday when it started snowing in different parts of the country including Mokhotlong, one of the districts in the Highlands of Lesotho.
According to the District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO) Mr. Sekake Thamae, the Office received a report of two men traveling in a truck who have been stuck and made several attempts to get them rescued but failed due to the rate on which the snowflakes have piled. . . .
