GOVERNMENT HOUSES VANDALISED

Thaba Tseka Apr. 17 — More than seven government houses are reported to have their pan connectors vandalized during the weekend.

This was stated in an interview with Superintendent Karabo Morapeli in an interview with the Agency on Monday who stated that the criminal activities are reported to have happened from Easter as since then, it has been very busy with soccer and school games.

He said the suspicion is that the new initiates are the culprits as they were seen all over town during the celebrations and they are the ones that use black rubber inside the pan connectors to titivate their gum boots.

Supt. Morapeli said they have not currently identified the culprits, but stated that investigations are continuing.

He said it is not the first time it happened, as they got such reports in 2021 but, during that time, they vandalized homes in Phomolong and Livestock.

It is reported that the houses that have been affected have pan connectors located outside of the houses and in some of the government houses it is the second time vandalism occurs.

Meanwhile, he said besides the vandalism, they had a calm weekend as no reports of fighting over rangelands were reported as it always happens.
