HEAD JTC WORRIED OF YOUTH BEHAVIOR

Maseru, Aug. 31 — The Head of the Juvenile Training Centre (JTC) says that Basotho needs to go back to the old ways of raising children as the modern ways are driving them into illegal activities.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Thursday, Superintendent Mohlanka Lehloenya said that the centre now welcomes young offenders with cases of sexual offenses which they engage in within their communities.

He showed that although there are still other conflicts such as house breaking and assault, sexual offenses are reported in very high numbers.
