Quthing, Feb 07 – – The District Health Manager Dr. ‘Makarants’i Mohlapiso, has assured current effective access to various health service delivery from all health clinics of Quthing despite a challenge of United States of America (USAID) suspended financial support support in improvement of health services.
Speaking at the district heads of departments meeting held in the District Administrator’s Hall this week, Dr. Mohlapiso said Lesotho government through department of health has been committed to effectively provides professional health services to Basotho and it has been supported to its going process of health service delivery daily by USAID.
She said all health services are continuing to be provided in eight health clinics of district and the Quthing community should continue to access the services for maintenance of their good health. Dr. Mohlalisi highlighted that following suspension of USAID support, more than 50 workers that comprise of a Doctor, Nurses, Counsellors, Pharmacists and Drivers and Data Clerks engaged in various health projects which that supported TB and HIV/AIDS services, have been suspended following 90 days suspension of USAID support for review of such support.. .
