HEALTH RISK LOOMS AS SCHOOL TOILETS FILL UP, PARENTS STEP IN

Berea, April 01 — Learners at St Agnes Primary School are at risk as the school’s toilets are near full capacity, prompting parents to step in to help fund urgent drainage work.

The issue was revealed during a parents’ meeting held on Wednesday, where school authorities warned that the toilets are nearing full capacity and have become unsafe for learners.

The school principal Mrs ’Mamotia Moru said the situation had reached a critical point.

She explained that the school has identified the problem early and conducted research to find possible solutions, including sourcing quotations from service providers who specialize in draining toilets.

During the meeting, parents agreed to contribute funds towards the draining of the toilets.

The payments are expected to end on the first day of the new school term, ensuring the work is carried out without delay.
