HEAVY RAINS, THUNDER STRIKES HA RAPHOLO COMMUNITY

Berea, April 14—Heavy rains destroyed two families at Ha Rapholo, lightning burnt one house to ashes while the other made of mud bricks collapsed. 

Speaking with the Agency, one of the affected families, Mr. Paseka Leba said  last Thursday,  he heard noise outside but did not think  that his house was on fire.

Mr. Leba said  when he went outside he saw people rushing to his home while his  house was burning on the other side. 

He further pointed out that his family’s furniture and grains burned along with the house, “There was nothing to be recognised the next day, clothes, mattress, bathing basins as well as some grains burnt to ashes,” he mentioned…
