HEAVY WINDS CREATE HAVOC

Mohale’s Hoek, Dec. 23 — Chief Education Officer-Primary, Ms. Thuto Nts’ekhe has on Saturday confirmed that officers from the Ministry will visit Lithipeng Primary School to evaluate the degree of damage on the walls of the classrooms, after the roofs were blown away by strong winds.

In an interview with the Agency, Ms. Nts’ekhe stated that Lithipeng is one of many schools in the county which were affected by strong winds, noting that if the budget was enough they would repair all of them.

According to the acting principal Ms. Nthabiseng Bohlane 2 classrooms and the shade net which the school used to grow tomatoes and vegetables for both consumption and commercial use were affected. . .
