Botha-Bothe, Aug. 28 — Thato Mokitjimi (19) of Malefiloane, Ha Khanya, appeared before Magistrate Mamosebatho Kantoro on five counts of housebreaking committed during July and August.
Mokitjimi is charged with contravening Section 65 (1) and (2) read with Section 109 of the Penal Code Act No. 6 of 2010 (Housebreaking with intent to steal).
On the first count, he is charged with breaking into the house of Malekoaela Ts’oeute at Khubetsoana, Malefiloane, on July 4, 2025, where he allegedly stole a Samsung A03 Core and cash amounting to M850. The total value of the property is M3,350.
On the second count, Mokitjimi allegedly broke into the house of Lesole Ts’iu on July 26, 2025, stealing clothes and shoes valued at M2,000. On the third count, he is accused of breaking into the house of Kutloano Motseko, where he allegedly stole property worth M7,000.
On the fourth count, he allegedly broke into the home of Thamae Khathatso on August 13, 2025, stealing property valued at M7,000. On the fifth and final count, Mokitjimi is accused of breaking into the house of Likhoehliso Khauta during August 2025, where he allegedly stole property valued at M3,000. . .
