HUNGRY LION WORKERS SUSPEND STRIKE

Maseru, June.16 — Hungry Lion workers who went on strike last Tuesday have suspended indefinitely.

This was disclosed by Economic Freedom Trade Union (EFTU) Secretary General Mr. Ts’epang Makakole in an interview on Monday where he said the suspension follows the mediation by the Minister of Labour and Employment.

He said the Minister has urged the workers to go back to work while he meets with the Hungry Lion Management.

However, he said this is only suspension saying that if deliberations between the Minister and the employer do not answer the workers’ grievances then the latter will go ahead with their strike. . .
