Maseru, Oct.29—- Advocate Letuka Molati says the Zimbabwean Acting Judge of the High Court presiding over the ongoing bombings trial, Justice Charles Hungwe is likely to ask ‘ what kind of people are the Basotho’, after hearing evidence in this matter.
This, the lawyer who is in this matter representing Former Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli, said during cross-examination of Former Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Dr. Khothatso Tsóoana.
He pointed out that in 2014, a lawful wife of the then Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Motsoahae Thabane was the late Lipolelo Thabane when the same PM had a relationship with Liabiloe Ramoholi now Maesiah Thabane. He indicated that prior to the death of Lipolelo, the PM filed for divorce adding that the respondent was represented by Adv. Phafane (KC) who later withdrew from the case.
Adv. Molati stated that the case was taken by Adv. Mda (KC) who however refused to succumb to the powerful pressure which forced the withdrawal of the previous lawyer in the divorce matter. He indicated that the offices of Adv. Mda at Mafeteng were bombed adding that the police never investigated who bombed the offices nor anyone was ever tried before the courts of law…
