Maseru, May. 09 — The Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS) has announced the release of 41 inmates, marking a significant development in the country’s correctional system.
This release, according to Chief Officer Bokang Ramotena, is in accordance with the inmates’ case categories, with two women and 39 men among those granted freedom.
Chief Officer Ramotena, in the weekly report provided by the LCS, detailed the breakdown of the releases. Out of the 41 individuals, 26 were released on bail, seven were released upon payment of fines, and three completed their sentences. . .
