LMPS VISITS MATLAMENG

Leribe, Aug. 29 — With the purpose of preventing residents from taking law into their hands whenever there are conflicts, Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) held a public gathering at Matlameng Ha Letsie in Leribe on Tuesday.

This was revealed by Superintendent Leuoane Thamae commanding Leribe police.

Explaining to the agency, he said the main purpose of the gathering was to call to the attention of the public the consequences of taking the law into their own hands.

He indicated that the public had recently killed one of the residents after a Businessman Mr. Sekhohola Chabalala was shot dead on August 24, with the believe that he was part of the gang.
