Maseru, March 26 — The Lesotho Women’s Senior team, Mehalalitoe Coach Mr. Shalane Lehohla has announced the 23 members squad on Monday ahead of an international friendly match against their Botswana counterparts.
Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati told the Agency that Mehalalitoe will report for duty on Monday, for an non-residential camp in preparation for a friendly match against The Mares of Botswana scheduled for the April 1 to 9 FIFA International Women’s Calendar.
‘The Mehalalitoe technical team led by Mr. Lehohla and his assistant coach, Ms. Makobo Kepa have summoned a provisional squad of 23 local based players, who are expected to report for training at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena on Monday morning’ he highlighted.
He said Mehalalitoe players plying their trade outside Lesotho shores will only join the camp during the FIFA break in April.
Mr. Lehohla took the reins from former Mehalalitoe Coach the late Mr. Pule Khojane who died earlier this year after a short illness.
The squad includes goalkeepers Thuto Maifo (Lijabatho Ladies), Mamakhabane Makibinyane (LDF Ladies) and Reitumetse Tuoane (Kick4Life Women).
Defenders are Thato Mapepesa (LDF Ladies), Ts’oanelo Leboka (LDF Ladies), ‘Mathebe Ramphielo (LMPS Ladies), Relebohile Lekhotla (LMPS Ladies), Bokang Ntsane (LDF Ladies), Lerato Mphou (LDF Ladies), Ntsoaki Molefi (Lijabatho Ladies).
Moleboheng Moloi (LMPS Ladies), Rapelang Makhetha (Lijabatho Ladies), Mosele Pita (LDF Ladies), Lerato Tsoinyane (Kick4Life Women), Nteboheleng Ramatsoku (Mawese Ladies), Mats’ukulu Motloheloa (Kick4Life Women), Puleng Moeketsi (LDF Ladies).
Forwards consist of Makhotso Moalosi (Berea Ladies), Phuzile Molefe (LDF Ladies), Moseme Shakhane (Lijabatho Ladies), Reitumetse Namane (Kick4Life Women), Nthabeleng Potsane (LDF Ladies) and Puseletso Jobo (Kick4Life Women).
