Qacha’s Nek, Oct. 26 — A vibrant crowd converged at Melele ground on Saturday for the inaugural 21.1 km Mountain Marathon, celebrating the rich 200-year history and cultural heritage of the Basotho nation.
This international half marathon, accredited by the Federation of Athletics Lesotho and the World Athletics Federation, kicked off in Ha Noosi and concluded at Melele Ground.
The festivities included a lively 5 km race from Ha Manteko to Melele ground, attracting participants aged 14 to 92. . .
