Maseru,July.21 — The Minister of Information, Communication, Science, Technology and Innovation Ms. Nthati Moorosi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of India Mr. Pabitra Margherita on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in Maseru on Monday.
In her remarks, Ms. Moorosi said that the signing of the MoU celebrates over 5 decades of relations which shared by transparent mutual understanding that goes beyond trade and military training.
She mentioned that it also marks a new chapter which is deepening collaborations in fields such as Information Technology (IT) and innovation.
Ms. Moorosi indicated that such collaborations help establish common vision for development and seek to build capacity and share ideas that will amongst others stimulate economic growth.
On the other hand, the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of India Mr. Margherita said that the relationship between Lesotho and South Africa is deeply rooted in values of democracy and commitment. . . .
