LESOTHO LOOKS INTO STRENGTHENING CAPACITY ON CHEMICAL AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

Maseru, July.24—The Ministry of Environment and Forestry with the department  of Environment  with the support of the UN Environment Programme held an inception workshop for the implementation of the Project on strengthening institutional capacity for the coordination of chemicals and waste Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and mainstreaming gender in their implementation in Maseru on Wednesday.

While opening this workshop, the Minister in this ministry Mr. Letsema Adonts’i said  this program aims to strengthen institutional capacity for the implementation of chemical and waste MEAs through capacity building, development of legislative framework, MEA coordination and implementation, gender mainstreaming and awareness raising…
