Maseru, Oct. 11 – Although Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) respects values, transparent and fair media reporting, there have been moments when some coverages for the Authority’s projects have been overshadowed by partial narratives and incomplete context.
This was said by LHDA Chief Executive Mr. Tente Tente during LHDA, Media Press Club held in Maseru with the objective to further strengthen the existing relations between the two parties.
Mr. Tente said while LHDA believes in openness, facts and critical journalism amongst others, when there’s partial narratives and incomplete context on LHDA’s projects, it does not affect LHDA only but even the public understanding of the projects, the morals of the team working tirelessly to deliver, emphasizing that the perception of project’s is truly transforming Lesotho and the region.
He stressed that media visits at phase II project site and public relations are intended to bridge the gaps and make access much easier…
