LIKUENA EARNS FIRST POINT IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Maseru, Nov 17 – Lesotho’s senior soccer squad Likuena (The Crocodiles) earned their first point in the opening 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles played at Godswill Ekpabio International Stadium in Uyo State in Nigeria on Thursday evening.

Likuena held Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw after Motlomelo Mkhwanazi scored a second half vital headed goal from a corner kick.

However, the hosts equalised a few minutes later also from a corner kick as both nations could not be separated at regulation time. . .
