MOTANYANE CALLS FOR HELP TO CHILDREN BORN IN PRISONS

Maseru, Nov 17 – This year’s Harvest FM winner of Little Speaker of the National Assembly, Karabelo Motanyane has called on the Government to address the plight of children born in the Correctional Services in the country.

Motanyane who is a student at New Millennium International School in Maseru visited the National Assembly together with winners of other categories, her parents, teachers as well as the Harvest FM management and staff on Friday.

Addressing the Members of Parliament (MPs) Seated at the Speaker’s seat, Motanyane said she has already visited the Female Prison in Maseru and found that there are some children who were born there.

She said she has noticed that these children have challenges like shortage of clothes and some of them are malnourished and therefore appealed for help from the government and the members. . .
