BEREA – Lioli, Maroala and Mats’ekha have celebrated the 62nd birthday of King Letsie III with cultural and traditional dances at the national level celebration staged at Teyateyaneng Pitso House on Thursday.
King Litsie III arrived at the venue with escort from mounted police and cheered by the nation which was shouting on top their voices, “Happy birthday Your Majesty”.
When conveying his birthday best wishes, Prime Minister (PM) Mr. Ntsokoane Samuel Matekane said King Letsie III has touched their hearts with kindness and love.
PM Matekane wished his Majesty prosperity throughout, wealth, health, peace and love.
He further said his Majesty’s legacy will forever be remembered, wishing for him that will guide the nation to peace and prosperity.
Echoing the same sentiments, Botswana President Advocate Duma Gideon Boko remarked that they are grateful to celebrate the birthday of the King of Basotho nation, citing that they are also recognizing his immense contribution to the nation and to the Africa continent. . .
