MACDONALD URGES GRADUATES TO UP THEIR GAME

Mohale’s Hoek, October, 19 — The British High Commissioner in Maseru Mr. Harry MacDonald has pleaded with graduates to up their game in ensuring that they resuscitate the country’s economy, by acquiring necessary skills from Universities in the United Kingdom.

MacDonald noted this at a presentation held for graduates irrespective of age and employment status, concerning the Chevening United Kingdom Government’s International Scholarship Programme at an event held in Mohale’s Hoek on Thursday.

He indicated that Basotho graduates are given a chance to study in the UK and come back to share and implement skills they have acquired, noting applicants need to state reasons as to how their chosen courses will benefit the country, noting the scholarship is a 1-year Masters Degree programme.
