Berea, June 26 — With the King’s birthday celebration around the corner, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship Affairs, Home Affairs and Police (MLGCAHP) Deputy Principal Secretary (DPS) Mr. Nkhotha Machachanise has commended both the National and District Celebration Committees over the progress made.
DPS expressed his gratitude during the progress meeting staged at Teyateyaneng Urban Council boardroom on Thursday, whereby Berea district is finalising activities preceding the King’s Birthday celebration on July 17.
Mr. Machachamise pointed out that they strongly acknowledge the dedication and desire among both organizing teams in reviving the spirit of Basotho nation in supporting the national celebrations.
He emphasized a strong need to improve on information sharing for smooth operations and to budget within the lines of activities for both the district and national level ceremonies. . . .
