MAKOANYANE XI, BAHLABANI HEAD TO KZN FOR FRIENDLY MATCHES

Maseru, July 16 — Lesotho boys’ junior teams, Makoanyane XI (U-20) and Bahlabani (U-17) will travel to the coastal city of Durban later this week where they will on Saturday play practice matches against Amazulu and KwaZulu Natal Academy.

Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer Mr Mikia Kalati told the Agency that both teams have been hard at work since the start of the year and have already played friendly games in Eswatini and South Africa respectively.

He said the friendly matches in KwaZulu-Natal are part of Makoanyane XI and Bahlabani preparations for this year’s COSAFA Under-20 and Under-17 Tournaments, which will also be qualifiers for the Africa Nations Championships (CAN) and the World Cup competitions.
