Maseru, July.17—Following the damning article in one of the local newspapers that Maseru English Medium Preparatory School owes Nashua over M3 million, the school has allayed fears of the stakeholders.
In the statement issued, the school says it is aware that the issue has gone viral on social media and while such news may rise questions and concerns, the matter is being addressed by their legal representatives therefore cannot disclose any further details.
“We however wish to allay fears and concerns that may have risen from the article and want to assure all our stakeholders that the unfortunate development will not deter the school from its focus and commitment to continue to sustain and uphold the standards of excellence that we are renowned for,” reads the statement.
It adds that the school remains steadfast in preparation for the start of the new academic year on August 18 which will include exciting new developments in the academic and extra-mural offerings.
Earlier, the local newspaper had indicated that Maseru English Medium Preparatory School was slapped with a legal demand for more than M3.4 million in unpaid rentals and damages…AT/BM
