Maseru, July 16 — Maseru District will join Lioli to celebrate King’s birthday to be staged at Teyateyaneng on Thursday.
Maseru District Administrator Mr. Ts’epo Lethobane said there will be no activities held in the district to celebrate King’s birthday instead there will be buses that will ferry civil servants and the community to Teyayateng.
However, he reminded that this does not mean it will be business as usual in Maseru as it is a holiday, urging Matlama to be in the spirit of celebration wherever they are.
Meanwhile Berea district held a mass service at St. Theresa Catholic Mission on Wednesday ahead of King’s birthday.
The Mass was graced by the presence of amongst others, their Majesties, three Principal Chiefs of Berea and other Senior government officials as well as the former Prime Minister Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili and Mrs ‘Mathato Mosisili to mention a few. . . .
