Maseru, Sept 02 — Members of the media remain a key sector that has ability to become children’s’ advocates, thus prevent children from becoming victims of abuse in its different forms.
According to World Vision Lesotho (WVL) Communications and Marketing Manager, Ms. Lerato Brown, children face a number of challenges in today’s dynamic world, that include early child marriages, physical violence and other forms of abuse.
Therefore, she explained that having worked with a number of children under WVL programmes, Ms. Brown noted the importance of the media to cover the voice of children as they report stories of children.
