Maseru, Oct. 20 — In efforts to promoting food security within the country as initiated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition has announced that it is ready to continue with the supply of manure and seedlings for summer cropping.
Speaking at a press conference held at the ministry’s premises on Friday, the minister Mr. Thabo Mofosi said that the sale of the products is currently put on hold as to allow for the ministry to collect more products that will be able to cover a larger range of farmers across the country.
He indicated that currently the focus is in the lowlands districts as it has been done first in the highlands districts during the winter cropping.
