Maseru, Oct. 20 — Socialist for Revolutionaries’ (SR) Mrs. ‘Mamarame Matela who held the second seat of the party in the National Assembly has resigned. The Agency has discovered.
The Agency could not reach her as her phone was not available, however in the letter written to the Speaker of the National Assembly, she said that she was tendering her resignation as the Member of Parliament in Lesotho’s 11th Parliament.
She said that she would be grateful to receive guidance from the Speaker’s office on any other processes that are required for the purpose of effecting the resignation to completion.
