Maseru, Oct 20 — A Member of Parliament representing Socialist Revolutionaries (SR) on Proportional Representation (PR) Advocate Mamarame Matela resigned as a Member of Parliament on Friday.
Reading her letter of resignation, Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane said advocate Matela has written to him informing him of her wish to resign as a Member of Parliament.
” I hereby, with the deepest and great regret , tender my resignation as a Member of Eleventh Parliament of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
