Leribe, Aug. 15 (LENA) –With the purpose of celebrating 200 years of Basotho’s existence, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nutrition and Food Security organised an agriculture exhibition at Hlotse in Leribe on Thursday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Agriculture, Nutrition and Food Security Mr. Thabo Mofosi said there are many trainings to be held that would benefit the farmers in improving their production.
Referring to fertilizers, Mofosi said farmers are going to be supplied with fertilizers suitable for different types of soil.
” The soil will be tested by the Agric research department,” he stated.
He indicated that the government ministries have to interconnect as some of the products would benefit the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture…
