MORE NEED TO BE DONE-STREET VENDORS

Berea, Oct 04—As the country commemorates the 58th Independence Day, in Berea district it is business as usual as some street vendors say more needs to be done in order to economically transform the lives of people.

Despite Independence Day, Teyateyaneng streets are filled with people trying to earn a living through a wide spectrum of economic activities such as street vending, shopkeepers and many other things.

Approached for a comment, Mr. Konyana Moahloli as one of the street vendors who sustain a living by ferrying people’s items with a wheelbarrow after shopping, said although Independence Day is one of the important public holidays, they cannot celebrate on empty stomach.
