Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 13 — Mosotho Bathong hosted its second annual fashion show on Saturday at the Qacha’s Nek Community Hall, drawing an energetic crowd and showcasing emerging design talent from Qacha’s Nek and neighbouring Matatiele.
The event, hosted by Mosotho Bathong founder Polelo Mohapi, popularly known as CMP Art, featured live entertainment by renowned artist Rethabile Letsie, also known as Ngoana Bakoena, and highlighted growing cross-border creative collaboration.
The event opened with a modelling competition, producing six winners — five from Qacha’s Nek and one from Matatiele. This was followed by the main fashion design competition, which featured six designers: one exhibition showcase and five competitors, including one from Lesotho and four from Matatiele.
