MOTORISTS URGED TO BE CAUTIOUS AMID FESTIVITIES

Maseru, Oct. 06 — Department of Road Safety has called on motorists and all road users to be cautious on the roads and reduce accidents in this graduation festivities season.

Principal Road Safety Officer Mr. Setsoto Putsoa warned that ongoing traffic is expected to increase until festive season and urged motorists to refrain from drunken driving and overspeeding.

“Motorists and all road users should take precautionary measures to avoid road accidents and comply with traffic laws, ” he added.

He further urged motorists to be patient with one another and drive cautiously as rain is continuing to fall countrywide, reminding them to switch lights on so that they could be visible…
